Karpatka Cream Cake
Karpatka is a traditional Polish cream pie also known as a Polish vanilla slice.
It has also been called a Polish Carpathian Mountain cream cake. It looks like the craggy, snow-capped Carpathian Mountains.
It is basically a rectangular profiterole filled with pastry cream. Choux pastry filled with delicious custard and topped with a dusting of icing sugar.
